Display rules that target a product tag, product type, or product vendor can now also require a specific quantity of matching items in the cart — for example, "only show this component when the cart has at least 3 items tagged 'gift'."
What's new. When you build a display rule based on Product tag, Product type, or Product vendor, you'll now see a "Require specific quantity" option. Turn it on, choose a comparison — at least, exactly, or at most — and an amount. The component then only shows when the cart holds that many matching items.
This already existed for rules based on product ID, product name, and collection; it now covers tags, types, and vendors too, so quantity conditions are available across all product-based display rules.
A few examples:
- Show a "bulk discount" banner only when the cart has at least 5 items of a given product type.
- Show a free-gift message when there are exactly 2 items tagged "promo".
- Hide an upsell once the cart has at most 1 item from a particular vendor.
Existing display rules are unchanged — the quantity requirement is optional and stays off unless you turn it on.
