Free Shipping upsell components that use collections as their product source now automatically prioritise products priced close to the remaining amount needed to reach free shipping.
Previously, collection-based Free Shipping upsells showed the best-selling products from the selected collection regardless of price. Now, the system asks Shopify for products priced near the amount the customer still needs to spend. For example, if a customer is $22 away from free shipping, the upsell will prioritise showing products around that price point - making it easier for the customer to qualify with a single add.
If there aren't enough products in that price range, the system automatically fills in with the collection's best sellers so the upsell always has products to display.
This applies only to Free Shipping upsell components using collections. Manual product selections, Shopify AI recommendations, and third-party integrations (Algolia, Searchspring, Nosto, etc.) are not affected - those continue to work as configured.
