New Feature: Show components only to shoppers in your Tapcart app

If you sell through a Tapcart mobile app, you can now use Tapcart as a display rule and show a component only to app shoppers, or only to shoppers on the web.

What's new. Go to Settings → Integrations, open the Tapcart card and tick Enable Tapcart. A new Integrations section then appears in the display rule picker with a Tapcart rule in it, alongside the Cart, Customer, Product and Time rules you already use.

How it works. The rule has two options: Order placed in the Tapcart app and Order not placed in the Tapcart app. Tapcart marks every cart that starts in your app, and the rule reads that mark, so there is nothing to configure beyond picking one of the two. It combines with your other rules exactly like any other display rule, so you can target something like "in the Tapcart app and cart value over $150".

What you might use it for. App-only perks are the obvious one, like a free shipping threshold or a gift that only app shoppers see. It works the other way round too: a "Get 15% off in our app" banner shown only to web shoppers, or a delivery note that reads differently in the app.

Setup required. You need a Tapcart app for this to do anything. Until you tick Enable Tapcart, the Integrations section stays hidden and your rule picker looks exactly as it does today.

Plan availability. The Tapcart integration and its display rule are available on the Pro plan and above.

Existing setups. Nothing changes for your current components. Every component keeps rendering to app and web shoppers alike unless you add the new rule yourself. No action is needed on your end.
